We've announced the Jossi Wells Invitational is back, The Battle of the Bubble is ON, and the weather's been amazing.

We couldn't be happier with the week. The weather? Unreal. The temperatures? Cold. The snow? Far out. And we've only gone and announced that the Jossi Wells Invitational is back this year baby!! Join us September 12-17 to see some of the world's best skiers and riders tear up Cardrona and Treble Cone. Three events; a rail jam, Big Air, and the all-new TC Shoot-Out. Check out the @jossiwellsinvitational on Instagram for updates, and watch the trailer to get excited:

Did you see our GoPro and Burton Battle of the Bubble entry? We're stoked to see what our awesome team put together on the custom features the Park Crew built. Check it below:

If you appreciate the moves, then click here to vote for your favourite video! (We may be biased, but if you're reading this, we think it should be a vote for *cough* Cardrona *cough*).

Looking for retail? Head online to shop for Cardrona merch and more, or check out their new pop-up shop at Guest Services.

WEATHER FORECAST

It's been cold with an extra helping of chilly this week, with highs of -4 on some days. The rest of the week is looking slightly cloudy, hopefully sealing in a little more warmth. The winds are picking up again from around Tuesday morning, so keep safe and locked on the team!

Join our Facebook Snow Reports Group or load up the website Snow Report from 6.30 am daily to see what conditions are doing each day.

TREBLE CONE

Good times just keep coming. We're stoked to announce that TC are extending their season by 7 days! The new closing date is October 2... how good?

TC's been similar to Cardrona this week, with chilly temps and mostly beautiful clear days. The wind looks like it might be coming in on Tuesday evening, with some warmer weather hitting from the start of the week.

All this great weather has made us appreciate what an incredible mountain we have... just look at this stunning shot from last week looking out to the Saddle.

EVENTS

A couple of big events for your TC calendars are coming up. Firstly, the TC Mini Mountain is on tomorrow, and we're looking forward to testing the next generation's freeride chops. If you're interested, check out the info here.

On Sunday we're back on with the long-anticipated and infamous TC Banked Slalom. It's a classic take-fun-seriously event, a snowboard community classic. Click here to find out more and sign up.

TERRAIN PARKS

Big Bucks Jump 3 re-opened this week! We're stoked all these clear nights have meant the North Face Cardrona Parks Crew have been able to get amongst it. The crew have been loading up Stag Lane throughout the week, with the flat to down transferred, the jam box reset, the flat down tube location moved, and the 8m mesh rail reset.

Sometimes we like catching the Park in all its mellow glory, early in the morning, like this:

If you haven't seen it yet, The Battle of the Bubble features have been set up in lower Antlers Alley and will be there for the next month. If you've missed the chat around BoB, to summarise: throughout August, Cardrona Parks and Thredbo, Aus are hosting Burton and GoPro's Battle of the Bubble. It started on August 1 and runs for five weeks. The deal is that Cardrona goes head to head with Thredbo's Parks crew and each team custom-builds Park features. To enter, riders will hit the feature, shoot their videos, edit it using the GoPro Quik App, and then upload and tag #BattleOfTheBubble22. The prizes are awesome. You could win anything from a $1000 YETI prize pack to $5000 cash. So get on it, Cardrona Parks riders. There's nothing like a bit of friendly competition with our neighbours, right?

FOOD & BEVERAGE

This is your weekly reminder that our food and beverage outlets could look quite different this year, but the food will still be delicious, we promise! From one day to the next, there may be different offerings in each outlet (depending on staffing levels, isolation requirements etc.), so your patience and understanding is really appreciated by us and our team.

The legends at Roti Bros are still up the mountain - they sell curry-themed roti pie deliciousness. You'll find them downstairs from Snow Sports HQ on the patio outside Base Café. Want a space to eat your own lunch? On busy days you can head to the Noodle Bar, which is open as a warm and dry space for you to do so. Please remember our landfill-free policy and think about the packaging your food comes in, and take any waste you have home with you.

ALL IN

Have you seen All In yet? It's our short documentary about women in Snow Sports - you can watch it here:
