We are really proud to share this short documentary that follows the Cardrona Parks Crew in the snowy season. While we're sleeping, they're building masterpieces that world-class athletes turn into record-breaking spectacles. Speaking of moving mountains, some legends rocked our world at Wednesday night's Halberg Awards! A huge congratulations to Zoi Sadowski-Synnott for taking home not only Sportswoman of the Year but also the Supreme Halberg Award. Nico Porteous was awarded Sportsman of the Year, Corey Peters took home the Para Athlete of the Year, and Gustav Legnavsky won the Emerging Talent award. It was a huge night for New Zealand snow sports.

Now we're all excited about the upcoming winter season; let's not forget we still have over a month left of the summer biking season. Here's a reminder of our opening hours:

DIRT REPORT

We're experiencing dry trails after a long dry spell, but they're still riding great. Fingers crossed, there looks like some rain on the way this Saturday, so keep your eyes peeled for hero dirt on Sunday morning.

Fire up the Dirt Report to see what conditions are doing daily.

EVENTS

Last weekend we hosted New Zealand's first Red Bull Fox Hunt, and it was awesome! Here's Red Bull's entertaining coverage of the event:

Next month Crankworx Summer Series is back and heading up to Cardrona Bike Park! On 8 and 9 March, the ultimate mountain biking road trip returns with high-calibre competition and grassroots energy. Events will give local and up-and-coming riders a chance to race with national and international heroes. We're hosting the downhill race on the infamous 2.46km Long Black trail. Read more here.

Later in March, Après Wanaka is hosting the inaugural and always a good-time 'Froth Off', where we give the voice to the people, and you help us choose what brews to put on the taps at Cardrona and Treble Cone. Tickets are available to purchase here, and include an official 'Froth Off' Glass and 5 tasters. With other food and drinks available for purchase, live music, and lawn games to enjoy, it's a great day out.

Don't forget: we're open late every Friday night 'til 8pm for your post-work week bike laps. Make the most of it while you still can!

YOUR MONTHLY BUCKET LIST EXPERIENCE
