Welcome to this week's What's On. Up the maunga, we're still recovering from the amazing week that was all things JWI. Though it's over for another year, we have some great news to keep us excited... the Soho Basin cat skiing team are offering rides at $50 this weekend! $10 of the pass price will be donated directly to the Kārearea Foundation. There are limited spaces as it's this weekend only, so call us on +64 3 443 8880 or pop into Cardrona ticketing to secure your spot. For context, this is the kind of terrain we're talking about:

Soho Panorama

Don't forget to get prepared for summer with the Hero Pass, in collaboration with our mates at Bike Glendhu. Riding two mountains all summer, with one pass. Learn more about it here.

Remember: our ongoing message is to take advantage of our user-friendly ticketing kiosks. If you've purchased tickets and passes online, you can head directly to pick them up from these machines, rather than queue to speak to our ticketing team.

WEATHER FORECAST

There was some snowfall earlier on in the week, giving us a fresh top-up. However, this weekend looks like the start of some reeeeal spring conditions, with a bit of sun, and temperatures ranging between a balmy 5 - 8 degrees celsius. If you haven't already, start packing that sunscreen.

Join our Facebook Snow Reports Group or load up the website Snow Report from 6.30 am daily to see what conditions are doing each day.

TREBLE CONE

We can't believe that TC's heading into its final week of the season! Keep an eye on the daily snow report for info about the Saddle Track. With warmer temps heading our way this weekend, there's a higher chance of its closure. It's better to get in early, or be prepared to hike into the Saddle via High Street.

It was amazing to see TC host their very first JWI event last week: the TC Shoot-out. With awesome events like these, it's best if we let the photos do the talking...

EVENTS

This Saturday 24 September is 'Beach Day' over at Captain's. So don your tropical shirts (especially tempting in these mild temps), ski along to the DJ and take advantage of the food and drink specials we've got on.

Saturday we'll also be hosting "Girl Get After It", organised by the Ladylike Movement and Winter Games NZ. It's an empowering day for all female freestyle skiers and snowboarders, from 9am - 3pm. Tickets are $30 with all proceeds going straight to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. Check out the @theladylikemovement on Instagram for more information.

TERRAIN PARKS

The Parks Crew that just keeps on giving: they've been changing up Stag Lane this week, so you can expect seven new features by Saturday!

This is your reminder that this weekend is the last weekend you'll be able to ride the halfpipe. We're hosting a private halfpipe camp at the start of October, which means it'll be closed to the public at the end of September.

Other than that, we'd like to take this moment to re-live the unbelievable skills shown in the parks last week:

FOOD & BEVERAGE

This is your weekly reminder that our food and beverage outlets could look quite different this year, but the food will still be delicious, we promise! From one day to the next, there may be different offerings in each outlet (depending on staffing levels, isolation requirements etc.), so your patience and understanding is really appreciated by us and our team.
