MAIN BASIN
The Main Basin is home to all our Base Area facilities, including Guest Services, Rentals, 6 cafès and restaurants, retail shopping, our kids' centres and more.
As well as looking after our Learners, the Main Basin is home to New Zealand's best terrain parks and halfpipes.

WILLOW's BASIN
Willow's is our newest skiable terrain and sits within Soho Basin, overlooking Whakatipu Waimāori Queenstown.
Willow's is made up of two big bowls, with undulating intermediate terrain. With only two groomed trails and 65ha to explore, it's an off-piste playground!

Captain's BASIN
The sprawling bowl of Captain's is home to Cardrona's most accessible and most playful freeride terrain. Comprised of many rolling steep sections, linked by groomers, it is the perfect place to “hot-lap” with your mates at any time of the season.

Arcadia BASIN
Arcadia Basin and Arcadia Valley are an intermediate route that takes you through the towering Arcadia Chutes, connecting you down to the cruisy green Comeback Trail. From here you can continue down to Valley View or back to Whitestar.

VAlley View BASIN
Valley View is our lowest lift and is home to some of our most challenging terrain! It's a locals' favourite - park at Valley View and skip the top 10 minutes of the drive. Just make sure you're an intermediate or better skier/snowboarder so you can ride back down!

Getting to Cardrona is easy, no matter where you’re staying! Located in the heart of the Southern Alps, we’re a short drive from Wānaka, Queenstown & Arrowtown.
Let us drive you – with regular daily buses from Queenstown & Wānaka we can get you right to the front door & onto the snow faster!

Please note that the transport departure time from Cardrona is 4.15pm
At Cardrona there is a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist and ski patrollers on duty from 8.30am – 4.30pm every day.
We provide emergency care and medical treatment for all guests & staff, and can arrange referral to other medical facilities for further treatment if required. Ski Patrol monitor on-slope safety constantly and can be approached for assistance at any time.
There are first aid kits throughout the resort
and 2 Automated External Defibrillators. Overnight, there is a manager to assist with emergency health problems for apartments guests. We do not have x-ray facilities on-site.
Anyone receiving treatment will be subject to a surcharge, which is payable on the day.

Locker Hire
You can hire double or family- sized ski lockers either online or on the day with your RFID MyCard. Single-day double & 4-person ski locker rental also includes overnight storage.

If you’re just here for a single day and want to stow a few small things, we have three storage options to keep you covered:
Ski Concierge
If you’ve got a multi-day ski or snowboard rental, you can drop your gear into Ski Concierge at the end of the day, where it’ll be stored & ready for you to collect the next day.
Ski Concierge is located in the rentals department and will store skis & snowboards – you’ll need to take your boots home with you. It’s included in the price of your multi-day rental
– just to make things easier for you!
Adaptive ski/ snowboard programme with qualified instructors and volunteer support

Wheelchair available at Captain’s Pizzeria for ski- in/ski-out adaptive guests
Accessible food and beverage including GF/vegetarian/ vegan options at:
